Terms of Service
Last updated: 29 June 2026
These Terms govern your use of the QRTamm mobile app ("the app"). By downloading or using QRTamm, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. The app
QRTamm lets you create, customize, scan, organize and export QR codes and barcodes on your device. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for your personal or business purposes, subject to these Terms.
2. Free and Premium features
QRTamm offers free features and an optional Premium subscription that unlocks additional features (such as batch generation, barcode tools, advanced exports like SVG/PDF, and an unlimited library). The specific features included in Premium are shown in the app and may evolve over time.
3. Subscriptions, billing & cancellation
- Premium is an auto-renewing subscription billed through your app store account (Google Play / Apple App Store).
- Your subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You manage, change, or cancel your subscription in your app store account settings — not within QRTamm.
- Prices are shown in the app before purchase and may vary by region and over time.
- Refunds, where available, are handled by the app store under its own policies. We do not separately process payments or issue refunds.
4. Your content and responsibilities
QRTamm is a tool. We provide the means to create and scan codes — how you use the app, what you encode, and what you do with the result are entirely your responsibility. In particular:
- You must own or have the right to use any links, numbers, names, or information you put into a code.
- For retail barcodes (such as EAN/UPC), QRTamm only encodes the number you enter — it does not register or issue official product numbers. To sell products in stores you need a number registered with GS1 (gs1.org).
- You must not use the app to create or distribute codes that link to or contain unlawful, harmful, deceptive, infringing, or malicious content.
- We do not monitor, control, or take responsibility for the content you encode, or for any website, app, or material that a code links to or that you scan.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, resell, redistribute, or attempt to circumvent the app's paid features, except to the extent the law expressly permits.
6. Intellectual property
The QRTamm name, logo, design and software are owned by the developer and protected by applicable laws. The QR codes and barcodes you generate from your own data are yours to use.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. While we work to keep codes accurate and scannable, you are responsible for testing that a generated code scans correctly before printing or publishing it. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the app, including misprinted, unscannable, or incorrectly encoded codes. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim.
9. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the developer from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) the content you encode, create, or distribute; (b) your use or misuse of the app; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any law or of the rights of any third party. This obligation continues even after you stop using the app.
10. Termination
These Terms apply for as long as you use the app. We may suspend or end your license to use the app if you breach these Terms or use the app unlawfully. You may end them at any time by deleting the app. Provisions that by their nature should survive — including your content responsibilities, the warranty disclaimer, the limitation of liability, and indemnification — continue to apply after termination.
11. Changes to the app and Terms
We may update the app and these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above and may be communicated through an app update. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Severability & waiver
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, it will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will stay in full force and effect. If we choose not to enforce a provision, that is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
13. Entire agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, make up the entire agreement between you and the developer regarding the app and replace any prior understandings.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the app will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the United Arab Emirates.
