Privacy Policy

QRTamm is built privacy-first. The app works fully on your device — it does not require an account, it runs no servers of our own, and it does not collect, sell, or share your personal data. This policy explains exactly what that means.

1. Who we are

QRTamm ("the app", "we", "us") is developed by Adnan Ibrahim. You can reach us any time through our Support page.

2. The short version

• Your QR codes, barcodes, folders, templates and settings are stored only on your device.
• We collect no personal information and use no analytics, advertising, or tracking.
• We run no servers — your content is never uploaded to us.
• The camera is used only to scan codes on your device; images are never stored or sent anywhere.
• Purchases are handled securely by your app store and our payment partner — we never see your card details.

3. Information stored on your device

Everything you create — the QR codes and barcodes you generate or scan, your saved library, folders, design templates, and app preferences — is stored locally on your device using your device's standard storage. This information stays on your device, is not transmitted to us, and is removed if you delete the app (unless you have exported a backup file yourself).

4. Camera & photos

Camera: If you use the scanner, the app requests camera access to read QR codes and barcodes. Frames are processed in real time on your device to detect a code. Images are not recorded, stored, or transmitted.

Photos / files: If you choose to save or share an exported code, the app uses your device's standard save and share features to write the file where you choose. The app does not browse or read your photo library.

5. Purchases (subscriptions)

QRTamm offers an optional Premium subscription. Payments are processed by Google Play (and, where applicable, the Apple App Store) — we never receive or store your payment card details. To manage and restore subscriptions, we use RevenueCat, a subscription-management service. RevenueCat receives a randomly generated app user identifier and non-personal purchase/transaction information needed to validate and restore your subscription. 6. Backup & export files

If you export a backup or export your codes as PNG, SVG or PDF, those files are created on your device and saved or shared only where you direct them (for example to your Files app, Downloads, or another app you pick). We have no access to these files.

7. Information we do not collect

We do not collect your name, email, location, contacts, device identifiers for advertising, or usage analytics. We do not use cookies or trackers. We do not build advertising profiles, and we do not sell or share data with data brokers.

8. Children's privacy

QRTamm is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect any information from children. Because we collect no personal data, the app is safe for general audiences.

9. Third-party services

The only third parties involved are the app store you downloaded from (Google Play / Apple App Store) for distribution and payments, and RevenueCat for subscription management, as described above. We are not responsible for the content of any website or app you open from a scanned code.

10. Your rights

Since your data lives on your device, you are always in control: you can edit or delete any code, clear your library, or uninstall the app to remove all local data. For any privacy question or request, contact us through our Support page.

11. Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and post the new version on this page. Significant changes will be reflected in an app update.
